Meet Leah Hawthorn

Leah Hawthorn is a certified Master Trainer through The Protocol School of Washington. She has 35+ years of experience working in the music and theater industry, and as a wardrobe consultant for a high-end designer boutique.
In 2008 Leah began facilitating professional training seminars on business image, entertaining, and etiquette. Leah conducts regular training for The Defense Acquisition Universities, Senior College Fellowship, corporate businesses, colleges, and universities.
With more than 30 years in the business image arena, Leah brings a unique view to the importance of Business Image & Business Etiquette/Social Intelligence, how to “Outclass the Competition”, and how it relates to success. She has taught students from across the world including the United States; Cairo, Egypt; London, England, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Leimuiden, Netherlands; Canada; Mandaluyong, Philippines; Australia; Changuanas, Trinidad and Tobago; and Skopje, Macedonia.
Leah is an etiquette expert for publications such as: Dayton B2B, Dayton Daily News, and recently wrote an article published in the international online magazine, Countlan. Leah has made a number of appearances on WDTN-TV as an etiquette expert with anchor Marsha Bonhart and on Living Dayton.
Active in her local community, Leah delivers business image and business etiquette/social intelligence seminars to a variety of organizations, businesses, colleges and schools, in addition to WPAFB and Defense Acquisition University Midwest. She sits on the Board of Trustees for RMHC Dayton and is Communications Director for the Greater Ohio Valley Chapter of Women in Defense. Leah served as a founding board member of Women in Business Networking. She is a 2010 recipient of Women in Business Networking’s Top 25 Women to Watch award.
